HOD Message
Greetings!
Welcome to the Department of MCA (Master of Computer Applications Programme) was started in the department of CSE in the year 1991 with an intake of 30 and subsequently increased to 60 in the year 2000. The MCA department has been formed full-fledged since September 2008.
The Department has well qualified and experienced faculty with two Ph.D and 5 more pursuing Ph.D.The staff members are deputed to participate in International conferences, Symposia, Workshops and Refresher courses to keep update recent developments in the field of Computer Science.Department is equipped with good infrastructure and Laboratories with sufficient Computer systems with high configuration, individual rooms for Faculty with computer system and internet connectivity to motivate their research.
Students are placed in reputed organizations like Microsoft, Deloitte, Accenture etc and also moving to do their further qualifications. The Alumini are working in developed countries, studied in reputed institutions like IIT, foriegn universities in enhancing their studies. Department is conducting various workshops with real-time expertise speakers to enhance students technical skills
