The Department of Physical Education and the sports club of CBIT, Chaitanya Kreeda successfully organized AURA 2024, a National Level Inter Engineering Sports Fest, from 14th to 16th November 2024 and cricket started form 4th November 2024. This event aimed to foster the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy competition among participants from various colleges. With a total participation of over 1500 students, AURA 2024 featured 10+ sports categories across indoor and outdoor games, providing a platform for athletes to showcase their talent. The event witnessed tremendous energy, enthusiasm, and spectacular performances.

Day-Wise Breakdown of Events
-Day 0 – 4th November 2024
Cricket matches commenced on 4th November 2024, with Principal Dr. C.V. Narasimhulu, Vice Principal Dr. P.V.R. Ravindra Reddy, and Director of Student Affairs Dr. Linga Reddy inaugurating the event. The matches were held in CBIT & CBES cricket grounds to ensure fast and smooth completion of the event.
-Day 1 – 14th November 2024
The grand inauguration set the stage for AURA 2024, with cultural performances and motivational speeches by the Sri K. Shiva Sena Reddy, Chairman of the Sports Authority of Telangana, as the Chief Guest, Sri K. Ramana Goud, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Narsingi, as the Guest of Honor. They were joined by Principal Prof. C.V. Narasimhulu Sir, adding grace to the event. The matches for Volleyball Men, Football, Kabaddi, Chess, Basketball began, engaging the crowd with thrilling moments.
-Day 2 – 15th November 2024
The second day was packed with the semi-finals of Basketball, Football, Carroms, Throwball women, Volleyball women came into the play. Indoor games like Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis and Carrom also took center stage, showcasing the strategic and calm side of sports.
-Day 3 – 16th November 2024
The final day featured the much-anticipated finals, with athletic events providing a nail-biting finish to the event. The valedictory ceremony concluded AURA 2024 on a high note, with winners & runners being awarded trophies, momentous, certificates and cash awards with a prize pool of ₹3,00,000/-. The valedictory ceremony featured notable dignitaries, including the Principal Dr C.V. Narasimhulu, Vice Principal Dr P.V.R. Ravindra Reddy, Head of Physical Education & Convenor of AURA 2024 Dr R. Rajeswari, and the First-Year HOD Dr. Srinivasa Reddy, who commended the efforts of the organizers and participants alike. The feedback from students highlighted the happiness and satisfaction derived from the event, making it memorable.

AURA 2024 proved to be an extraordinary celebration of sportsmanship, collaboration, and talent. The dedication and effort of Chaitanya Kreeda, along with the enthusiastic participation of students, made this event a resounding success.
