Chaitanya Bharathi Institute Of Technology (CBIT), established in the Year 1979, esteemed as the Premier Engineering Institute in the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, was promoted by a Group of Visionaries from varied Professions of Engineering, Medical, Legal and Management, with an Objective to facilitate the Best Engineering and Management Education to the Students and contribute towards meeting the need of Skilled and Technically conversant Engineers and Management Professionals, for the Country that embarked on an Economic Growth Plan.
In its Four Decades of existence, all the Stake Holders of the Institute relentlessly endeavored to position CBIT as an Institution that is a Leader and an Innovator in the Ecosystem of Engineering Higher Education. With the Students being the singular Objective, the Institute has established excellent Infrastructure such as State-of – the Art Laboratories, spacious Library with Printed and Digital Collection of Books and Journals, Sports, Hostel, and other Infrastructure for Extra and Co-Curricular Engagements with a total Built-up Area of about 57,714 Sq. Mts., in the serene Ambience of 50 Acres to inspire, encourage and pursue Academics. In its relentless strive for Academic excellence, CBIT has scaled great heights both Nationally and Internationally in Industry and Global Universities.
CBIT committed to Research and Innovation, with an objective to facilitate Individual and Collaborative Research for Sponsored and Consultancy Projects had established, in August, 2018, a State-of-the-Art Research and Entrepreneurship Hub, to support advanced Research and Innovation Ecosystem, connecting Innovators across Industry and Individuals. The Mission of the Hub is to streamline the Research Activities and contribute Products, Processes and Systems, to make a mark, in the ‘Make in India’ Program actively and aggressively promoted by the Government of India. To achieve this, each of the Departments will engage in Advanced Research of their Projects in the Independent space earmarked to them.
The Institute has emerged as a Dream Destination for; Students seeking to excel in Engineering and Management Education, Teaching Community to progress with a rewarding Career and Corporates to source well-rounded Engineers.
CBIT Recognitions
Biotechnology Department
The Department of Biotechnology has grown in leaps and bounds. Since its inception in the year 2005, the department has spawned brilliant biotechnologists thanks to the state-of-the- art infrastructure. With a vision to excel in education, research, and entrepreneurship the program is designed to suit all the needs of young technology graduates. The department has established 8 full-fledged laboratories and R&D equipped with modern equipment. Led by 12 highly experienced teaching staff, the department also plays a key role in MSME business Incubators to promote Entrepreneurship. The department has assistance for strengthening the areas of R & D from Osmania University, HCU, ICRISAT. The department has MoU’s with Curtin University, CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad etc.
Physics Department
The iCBIT 2024 was taken forward with the success of its predecessor icbit 2021, which produces a leading associative platform for researchers, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, confronted and solutions accepted in the fields of Biotechnology. The main aim of the conference is to bring cooperatively leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their research experiences and practices on all aspects of Biotechnology and interdisciplinary Technologies. iCBIT 2024 includes keynote sessions led by eminent scientists, oral presentations of sub- disciplines, poster presentations. With its scientific sessions, assertiveness is provided to probe the present-day technologies and developments that are specific to research area. No doubt the conference has a wide extent of topics and purged in aligned sessions related to the specific research area.
