To streamline the R&D projects database, each and every project is assigned with a UNIQUE CODE. This coding will facilitate to track and monitor on-going projects and will become easy to provide any project information to the ranking and accreditation agencies for the past projects also. For making the procedure more efficient and easier, projects are classified into four categories namely, Sponsored, Consultancy, Institute Level and In-House projects. Now the coding procedure is completed for all the projects that were executed by CBIT, since inception. As per R&D records a total of 70 projects have been sanctioned by various sponsoring agencies for various departments since the inception of the departments. In all the correspondence regarding any project, the staff should invariably mention the unique code of that project.
